About Dragon Formula: The amazing new Dragon Formula™ (DF) Urethane used to create these wheels is another industry leading innovation from Powell • Peralta. DF-93A Dragons will not only roll over rough terrain, but also grip and slide like 99A and 101A wheels do, so that you can do all your normal tricks and more on the greater range of skate terrains made skateable by its softer 93A hardness.
Speed: Dragons are very fast because DF-93A is super high rebound, an industry leading 18-20% higher than hard wheels. This higher rebound means you won’t lose speed in bowls or parks the way you would with an ordinary 93A wheel, and you will roll much smoother and faster on rough streets and sidewalks…even in places you used to have to walk your board.
Grip & Slide: Dragons slide on both rough and smooth terrains, and also grip when you need it. This is because Dragon Formula is not just an ordinary mid-90’s wheel formula. It has been developed over a ten year period to optimize and fine tune it to perfection. No other wheel can do what these Dragons can.
Durability: Dragon Formula is not only smooth, fast and slidable, it is also durable. The slidability comes from its unique blend of high performance materials by making the urethane weak so it will slide as the urethane wears away, not creating flats spots. Dragons are very long lasting so they are not only better skating, they are a great value too.

I literally have one of those plastic garage bins filled to the top with all sorts of wheels from all manufacturers! I have all sizes, shapes and duros. I have them for all sorts of riding situations and surfaces. So I have a pretty good feel for how certain formulas ride. But I was so blown away with these Dragon Formula wheels! They were fast! This wheel is as smooth as a soft slide, and at the same time as hard as a rock. It is a wheel formula that is a contradiction in terms, yet is incredibly effectively in its performance. The shape and size are the typical street wheel specs, which tried a competitor’s brand specifically for the regular street shape, dragons beat the others. Got the 56mm on my brand new series 14 Lance Mountain and it's just an amazing ride. Have used them on park concrete as well as a basketball court and they perform exactly the same. Do em in 58 and 60mm I'll be sure to buy more. (Posted on 8/2/2022)Rating - Favorite new wheels Review by BH
Best wheel I've skated in years. They really cover so much terrain. Soft on the landings and craggly surfaces at an older skatepark, but still slide and have the speed of a harder wheel. While gripping when you need them. For over 40 knees they're especially perfect. Honestly don't know why you'd use anything else now except for super hard wheels for wooden ramps / vert or super soft for truly rough surfaces. Got these 2 days ago and been using them a few hours and they are simply the best wheels I’ve ever used. Roll so much better than my 99a and at my skill level I’ve not felt any difference in grinds or tricks at all. Powerslide and revert just as good as a 99a. I’m amazed! (Posted on 7/28/2022)Rating
