About Dragon Formula: The amazing new Dragon Formula™ (DF) Urethane used to create these wheels is another industry leading innovation from Powell • Peralta. DF-93A Dragons will not only roll over rough terrain, but also grip and slide like 99A and 101A wheels do, so that you can do all your normal tricks and more on the greater range of skate terrains made skateable by its softer 93A hardness.
Speed: Dragons are very fast because DF-93A is super high rebound, an industry leading 18-20% higher than hard wheels. This higher rebound means you won’t lose speed in bowls or parks the way you would with an ordinary 93A wheel, and you will roll much smoother and faster on rough streets and sidewalks…even in places you used to have to walk your board.
Grip & Slide: Dragons slide on both rough and smooth terrains, and also grip when you need it. This is because Dragon Formula is not just an ordinary mid-90’s wheel formula. It has been developed over a ten year period to optimize and fine tune it to perfection. No other wheel can do what these Dragons can.
Durability: Dragon Formula is not only smooth, fast and slidable, it is also durable. The slidability comes from its unique blend of high performance materials by making the urethane weak so it will slide as the urethane wears away, not creating flats spots. Dragons are very long lasting so they are not only better skating, they are a great value too.

These are hands down my favorite wheels I have ever rode. They glide on sidewalks and asphalt. They slide like a 99a wheel. But the best thing is my knees and ankles don’t hurt after riding because of how much better and smoother these ride. I bought the 56mm and they are awesome. These wheels can at the perfect time. I just moved to a town with very little concrete, mainly just asphalt around here, but there is a decent concrete skatepark. They rule. Rough ground or smooth, they are killer with a nice, controlled slide. I bought them for my slappy board but have skated them on smooth concrete backyard bowls, 10' deep vert skatepark bowls, indoor masonite ramps, outdoor Gatorskins layered 12' vert ramp and asphalt, sidewalks and general street skating. They work excellent on all surfaces. Don't believe anyone that says they are slow on smooth concrete. They are not slow. They may even be faster than my 101s.

These wheels are absolutely amazing. They cruise fast and soft like a longboard wheel but then slide like a hard wheel when you want to. I don’t know how they did it, but I am super grateful. I have been wanting a softer wheel but I love to power slide and finish a lot of my 180/360 tricks with the last bit being a powerslide. I highly recommend these wheels and have let everyone try my board at the skate park in Denver. They were all blown away. They truly reinvented the skate wheel. I am wondering if they’ll make them in bigger sizes like a 58mm or a 60mm. I got the 56mm and I used to ride the spf formula in a size 60mm. These dragon wheels ride over crust so much better even though they’re 4mm smaller. They also don’t slide out too much when turning. I’m all around very impressed. It is NOT hype!

I switched to these wheels from Bones 84b (104a) in 60mm. These wheels feel softer, no question, and a little slower just rolling around on smooth-ish concrete, but for reasons that are hard for me to figure out, they don't feel as slow as a wheel this soft should feel, and the added stability I'm getting out of my bowl carves are actually allowing me to go faster and pump harder. It's really odd. The slight squish is helping my kickturns too. They also feel better on my feet than those harder wheels. (Posted on 8/15/2022)Rating - The truth Review by Peter
These wheels are everything they claim to be. I can skate confidently on all surfaces- smooth concrete, old bad concrete, asphalt, masonite, whatever.
