- I put the clear on my truck topper window. There is a lot of extra sticker around the outside since it is square. So if you don't want a lot of visible, bubbly plastic you should trim it. Even squeegeeing out the bubbles wouldn't be enough imo. If you get the black then this isn't necessary. Anyhow, an exacto does the trick.
