I have skated your decks from the first Hawk deck on and have loved them all. In my vintage stable is an old Flame Sword deck from way back that makes regular trips to the Skatepark to this day. The nose is blunt the tail is razored but it has never cracked or delaminated. Its one tuff old deck and a true testament to the quality of your boards.
Long live the Ripper!

Hello Brigaders, I miss the old school style and lifestyle, but we live with that memories in our heart. Por eso yo digo larga vida al Rey ♠

— Mauro Deo

powell peralta should make new mag letter boards

Jon Comer!!!!!

I would take down a law man for a Per Welinder Street Model...how do I get one? Powell streetstyle wheels or freestyle wheels? Let's see some Tony Hawk and Lance Mountain re-issues, thinking about it, a Tommy Guerrero would be the bomb! Cats that lived and breathed skateboarding in the 80's, like me, would kill to have those memories in hand...you guys have the means, shit, I would invest!

— Steven Collins

Hola a todos Brigaders, desde Argentina saludos a todos. "Long Live to Skateboard and Jay Adams" Viva la destruccion.

— Mauro Deo

My friend won tickets to the world premiere of public domain. we got to ride on the chartered bus from the factory in S.B. to L.A. with some of the bones brigade. I remember talking to George Powell and him being interested in my native american background. Now I'm a chief of my tribe and have a lot of responsibilities but then I was an eighth grader at la cumbre jr. high who thought that sk8ting was everything. What I wouldn't give to go back and have my bones brigade card in my pocket and my vallely deck under my feet. Sk8ting shaped my life. To me powell and peralta is a huge part of my youth and growing up in santa barbara wouldn't have been the same without it. sk8 hard.

Stumbling upon this website has triggered so many memories of the 70's, 80's, and skating as a youth. My nephews are into it now, and have no idea of the rich history and the big roll the P&P played in propelling the sport forward. They don't even realize that we had to build our own ramps back then!

— Rob D

I just ordered my brand new Mike Vallely deck (just like the one I had in '87). I'm gonna throw on my Indy 165's and a sweet set of G-Bones I've been sitting on for years. The streets of Pittsburgh will be mine, again. Thanks for bringing it back. Not just the deck, but that indestructable feeling. Skate and Destroy!

— Chuck Brown

It was roughly 1988 when I saw a pro board for the first time. Kenn had just bought the Ripper board and I still remember how excited I was. After that I became a skater and still to this day, being a father and 33 years old - I'm still a skater and always will be.

— Dale McConnery

I used to have the blue Cab Dragon and Bat deck around '88. I found a pic of that deck on the web and ever since I feel like I am 11 years old again. My girlfriend thinks I am nuts for even thinking about buying a board. Thanks for bringing back my childhood.

GIVE US THE MUSIC FROM 4, 6, AND 7!!!!! BONES BRIGADE VIDEO TUNES Volume 2!!!!!!!!!!

— colton brown

Powell-Peralta should join forces with Vans and make a p/p shoe in slipon and old skools

— Robert Reynolds

I'm about to lose my mind due to the sheer aweseomeness of what I'm seeing! I was born in '72 and lived every day of much of the '80s on my PP boards (and in my PP shirts). Skating was such a thick part of our culture and our lives, and I have my Bones wheels, Gullwing trucks, and Powell-Peralta boards to thank for it. I honestly owe my health as a pre-teen and teen to skating - every day, rain or shine, with a horde of buddies. My son is now 3 1/2, and I'm buying him an old-school skate for his next birthday...just like Daddy's old one. None of this new-schools stuff...he's going to learn inverts, rocket airs, and backside bonelesses from his old man! Thanks for bringing it all back...

— Chris Raleigh

Your site is the best. There's not that many old school companies left. And I'm glad that Powell-Peralta is still around. Thanx for still existing.

— James Cox

Due to the Re-issues coming out! I have taken up skateboarding again after a 10year break (motor x and then cars and girls, put my life on hold) but I'm back now ...,.ripping it on my ripper,I dare anyone who was a serious skater back in the day not to buy and set one up! its amazing how after an hour on my re-issue I was back no top form - like i had never stopped -skating half pipe ramps is now something I think about and do ,allot, all because of POWELL PERALTA RE-ISSUE,video games and listening to music is great, but lets not get too carried away!Skateboarding is a cheap hobby and very social! Please bring out the claw graphic out again, I smashed my teeth out on one like that back in the day! lol Respect to all the old school skaters.SK8 ON!!!!

— leo

I've been getting back into skating since a 15 year break. This past year, I must have bought 3 new generation decks. But none of them compare to the original bones brigade decks. My favorite, Tommy's Dagger, Bonite XT. Any chance of reprinting on maple or re-making this deck with Bonite+Maple (XT)? And keep up the great work, you guy are great.

— Dan Nimitz

I used to surf the concrete riding my Per Welinder board for years replacing it every now and then when it got too ragged or broke. I'd pick up Powell stickers religiously because you guys had some of the sickest designs. My parents loved it because I was outside doing something active and staying healthy. I'm older now and onto other things like weight lifting/bodybuilding to stay healthy, but I still enjoy the sport. I hope that some day you will issue some of the older Powell symbols on t-shirts in XXL for guys like me. Some of us older guys like to revisit our youth and your company has certainly played a major role in mine.

— S. Anton

Thanks for re-issuing the Jay Smith board. I used to ride a blue concave at Texas Pipeline Skate park, after it was closed of course! Got mine on order!!

— robert wecker

Awesome to see my childhood skates are back! I would LOVE to see and buy a Mullen chess board freestyle re-issue. Nothing beats the old school!
