- The soft slide series G-Slides are so rad! The 56mm versions are the best wheel I've found for street skating gnarly spots. They aren't the "perfect" wheel for super technical stuff and they can sometimes be sticky on certain grinds, but there are always trade offs. But it's awesome to be able to land and roll out on ugly concrete, and not die from cracks and pebbles. They aren't overly heavy, they ride smooth as butter, and yes you can actually slide them!
