In the late 1980's, Powell Peralta had an established vert team that was maxed out with the likes of Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Mike McGill and Lance Mountain. In an effort to expand the companies pro roster to include the growing "Street-Style" market, they began adding new "street" pros. After Tommy Guerrero it was Mike Vallely, then Ray Barbee. The fourth Powell-Peralta Street pro to receive a deck model was Long Beach local, Steve Saiz. His Native American "totem pole" graphic was the second illustrated by newly acquired artist Sean Cliver in 1989. Saiz continued to skate for Powell-Peralta into the early 1990's until his knee unfortunately gave out.

- None for the U.K? Review by Bill
Been patiently waiting for this board but it seems we’re not getting them in the U.K. Very disappointed to miss this one. Had this white dip myself back when it first came out. Really wanted one of these.Rating

I have the og kicknose version of this deck as a black stain, and as a black dip. I have always been keen to score a white dip, plus the spoon nose version, so two for two! Winner, winner, chicken dinner! (Posted on 11/15/2017)Rating - Favorite Review by Ernest

This was of my favourite boards! Saved up for ages to get one of these when I was younger, and this is even the same full dip white. Looks like I’ll have to get one for the wall and to ride. (Posted on 11/8/2017)Rating
