Did not know what to expect. I got an Andy Anderson Flight Deck 9.1” and needed wider grip tape. I started skating again and used the Shorty’s Silverado hardware with the 2 silver front bolts to tell what side was what. The Andy deck is shaped different but I wanted an easier way to tell front from back. So I bought this Ripper grip tape. I figured it may or may not be good and if it’s not good I can change it later. Well, no need to change it. I learned how to pump transitions on the vert ramp, ride bowls and relearned ollies (first try after years off) and heelflips etc... all on this grip tape. Also, it doesn’t “glow in the dark”, but when it’s almost dark the board is still super visible which side is which. Many graphics options if you don’t like this one. This is not a gimmick, this grip tape would be 5 stars if it was plain black. But, it’s 10 star grip tape. 5 for the perfect graphic. 5 for function. Oh, and very important: Mine shipped in a long flat box. Not rolled up in a gum band. So they actually care about the customer. I was able to open and apply it easier. It was flat. So maybe it’s 15 star review grip tape. Will buy this grip tape and Flight decks only. Powell Peralta is on top of their game. 15/15 Would recommend. (Posted on 10/11/2019)
