As a manufacturer, over time we accumulate sub assembly decks. A sub assembly deck is a deck without the graphic. We also have transfers from decks we no longer offer. We decided to pair some of these up and offer them in very limited runs. Total quantities will vary per shape and transfer. First, offered only on our website.

Q: What's up with the Powell-Peralta Funshapes?
A: We wanted to try something different. A lot of us were bored with the popsicle shapes, and if you don't skate switch- why ride one? We just wanted to try a fun shape with the sizing and functionality of present day skateboarding.
Q: Why the extra truck holes?
A: We make skate products with all ages of skateboarders in mind. When the first Funshapes were sampled, we had a 14.25" wheelbase on it. A few of our older skaters loved these new shapes, but asked about having a larger wheelbase. So we decided to have the double truck holes to stoke everyone out. All the Funshapes come with a 14.25" and 15" wheelbase.

Powell Peralta® decks are made in the USA at our own skateboard manufacturing factory in Santa Barbara, CA using U.S. hard rock maple, AirLam fused with Type 1 glue and are warranted against delamination for their useful life.

I loved this board. I originally bought it back in 2016 and fell in love with how it just felt better than a popsicle board and wasn’t as heavy as my OG Rippers that I ride. I shredded the board, learned most my tricks and was looking into getting a fresh one to always have then you guys brought it back! I'm in love! Epic board! Been looking for a good quality square tail (bowl board) for a while and this is perfect. My first Powell Peralta and definitely NOT my last. Been waiting for this to become available and ordered on Wednesday morning (midnight Tuesday/Wednesday US time). Board was delivered in the UK on Friday!!!!! 2 days - WOW!!!! Graphic is awesome and free grip! What more could you ask for? Perfect length and wheel base for me (female 5ft 4inches tall). Would not hesitate to buy again and in fact, should have ordered 2!
