Flight Deck Shape 246

Built in a new production area in our Santa Barbara, California facility, Powell-Peralta FLIGHT™ decks are stronger and thinner than an average 7-ply. You'll get the feel of it in an hour or two and begin to realize you can do things riding a Flight deck that cannot be done on a 7-ply. Flight decks allow you to extend your limits, because they let you ollie higher, flip faster, do tricks more easily, while lasting considerably longer than most maple 7-plys. #flightdeckconstruction

FLIGHT™ Decks are:

Thinner - as thin as your phone
Stronger - more than twice as strong in our tail break tests
Longer lasting - The epoxy infused, fiber reinforced structure of the Flight deck is extremely resistant to breaking, and this structure gives them "everlasting pop" that doesn't fade as your deck slowly wears.
Ollies higher because of greater rebound and snap.
Team testing suggests that Flight decks will last several times longer than a 7-ply, making them a great value as well as a superior performing skateboard.

*Remember, skateboards are meant to be ridden, not run over by a car or truck.

Wow! Review by Jesse

Man, I've been skating with Powell Peralta since my first true deck in 86...rip gray and black with bones multi-color wheels. It was Christmas in my book. Then skating with Powell Peralta blank decks and many other throughout the year. I saw the flight decks and how they are basically indestructible. I finally got one and man what a deck. Took a little bit to get used to, then boom they are the bee's knees! I've been true to Powell Peralta for over 30 years and will always be! (Posted on 6/20/2018)
F#*k Yes!!!!! Review by Abraam Chavarria

I'm almost 300 pounds but I still love skating, and I hope to lose weight while skating. But the problem I kept running into is snapping boards. Pro or blank it didn't matter, I always snapped them within about a month if I was actually trying hard. At first, I was skeptical about this "new advanced skateboard" that Powell has created. Plus the price was a little out of my range. But I sprang for it anyway...and let me tell you, it was the best decision of my skating life. It is holding up so well! No pressure cracks, no sounds of wood bending, absolutely amazing! I love this board, and If it does ever beak, I'm going to buy another with no hesitation. (Posted on 6/5/2018)
I will never buy anything else ever again Review by Iowa

I am weighing in at 176. I am guessing 7ply are not good for anyone over 130 pounds. I have a 246 flight deck and will never buy anything else ever again. Maybe this will last forever but I am very positive this will never break like wood does. (Posted on 4/20/2018)
Great board Review by Ryan L

I purchased the 9" wide flight deck in May 2017, and I love it. Steep concave, great pop and tough as nails. The only drawback in my mind is it razor tails faster than normal 7ply decks due to it's thinness. I will purchase another though, as the value of this deck is well worth the price. Hey guys, I just wanted to tell you that your flight decks are the sickest. I though they were too good to be true until I ordered one for myself. They're a real game changer for me. I'm super hyped on your new pro models and I look forward to ordering one. I think I'll only be skating flight decks from now on. (Posted on 8/28/2017)
Mr. Moose Review by BruceTheMoose

In the 1980's I skated Powell Peralta because they just had the best boards and I liked how they felt and what they did. Once again they make the best boards, this is the finest board I've ever had. At the age of 45 I am once again skating because I love it, and it's due in part to this great board!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 (Posted on 6/15/2017)
