About Dragon Formula: The amazing new Dragon Formula™ (DF) Urethane used to create these wheels is another industry leading innovation from Powell • Peralta. DF-93A Dragons will not only roll over rough terrain, but also grip and slide like 99A and 101A wheels do, so that you can do all your normal tricks and more on the greater range of skate terrains made skateable by its softer 93A hardness.
Speed: Dragons are very fast because DF-93A is super high rebound, an industry leading 18-20% higher than hard wheels. This higher rebound means you won’t lose speed in bowls or parks the way you would with an ordinary 93A wheel, and you will roll much smoother and faster on rough streets and sidewalks…even in places you used to have to walk your board.
Grip & Slide: Dragons slide on both rough and smooth terrains, and also grip when you need it. This is because Dragon Formula is not just an ordinary mid-90’s wheel formula. It has been developed over a ten year period to optimize and fine tune it to perfection. No other wheel can do what these Dragons can.
Durability: Dragon Formula is not only smooth, fast and slidable, it is also durable. The slidability comes from its unique blend of high performance materials by making the urethane weak so it will slide as the urethane wears away, not creating flats spots. Dragons are very long lasting so they are not only better skating, they are a great value too.

These wheels are the perfect balance. Soft enough to give a smooth ride, but still hard enough to slide. By far the best wheel I’ve ever rode. The Dragon Formula is the most versatile, well-balanced skateboard wheel I have ever skated. They function well on all types of rolling surfaces. The slide is predictable, they grip where needed, roll smoth in the course and the crust, yet aren't sluggish on smoother surfaces, like the park.Rating

IMHO, Dragon Formulas are a must-have for any skater's quiver, regardless of skating style. Sure, there are already a handful of "cruiser" or "filmer," high-80a/low-90a wheel formulas out there, but Dragon Formulas are the first wheel I have skated that really nail that trifecta and the result is the most perfectly balanced hybrid wheel on the market. So if you've just started skating and you don't know what you like yet, or if you're an advanced skater going to a new spot or park at and you don't know what the rolling surface will be like- also for simply getting there- these wheels are it. Simply put, they can do a little bit of everything pretty dang well.Rating

These wheels are really special. All that is claimed is true. Great for rough streets. Makes my old knees last longer at the park. Noticed a difference in the first few sessions! I live in Brazil and It's almost impossible to be able to buy or to even ride those wheels, I can't even wait to the day, maybe some years from now that I'll be able to ride those wheels, probably some second hand one's from somebody.
