About Dragon Formula: The amazing new Dragon Formula™ (DF) Urethane used to create these wheels is another industry leading innovation from Powell • Peralta. DF-93A Dragons will not only roll over rough terrain, but also grip and slide like 99A and 101A wheels do, so that you can do all your normal tricks and more on the greater range of skate terrains made skateable by its softer 93A hardness.

Speed: Dragons are very fast because DF-93A is super high rebound, an industry leading 18-20% higher than hard wheels. This higher rebound means you won’t lose speed in bowls or parks the way you would with an ordinary 93A wheel, and you will roll much smoother and faster on rough streets and sidewalks…even in places you used to have to walk your board.

Grip & Slide: Dragons slide on both rough and smooth terrains, and also grip when you need it. This is because Dragon Formula is not just an ordinary mid-90’s wheel formula. It has been developed over a ten year period to optimize and fine tune it to perfection. No other wheel can do what these Dragons can.

Durability: Dragon Formula is not only smooth, fast and slidable, it is also durable. The slidability comes from its unique blend of high performance materials by making the urethane weak so it will slide as the urethane wears away, not creating flats spots. Dragons are very long lasting so they are not only better skating, they are a great value too.

Just. That. Good. Review by William

Plain and simple - Dragons do it all. You wanna slide so smoothly on East Coast/ Mid-West crust? You got it. You want grip on park surfaces? You got it. Just cruising around? These will do it.

I'd say if you live in an area with rough ground or crusty, untreated parks; these are a must have. The amount of ease these put in pushing is unreal. They feel like a semi-hard cruiser (87+) and slide better than 99s or 101s could dream.

As durable as they are, they seem to wear down fairly quickly. To be fair, I don't think I've slid this much on a wheel ever.

They are as good and cool as they look and sound.

Have bought and will be continuing to buy these again. (Posted on 9/9/2022)

I PUT THESE ON A FREESTYLE DECK AND I CAN'T DO SQUAT ON A FREESTYLE DECK I HAVE DISCOVERED EXCEPT MAYBE MONSTER WALK AND POWERSLIDE. I WOULD LIKE TO DO MORE BUT I AM VERY OLD. THESE ARE SUPER DUPER SLIDEY THO, GREAT LITTLE WHEEL FOR POWERSLIDING. (Posted on 9/5/2022)
Oh. My. Gawd. Review by Hassan

I've been skating since '83 and have tried a lot of different wheels and I hate to say it but I think that I'm done experimenting. These wheels are insanely perfect. Eerily quiet at the skatepark would be my only complaint. They slide great while also navigating Life's little cracks and rocks and assorted street debris. I haven't noticed these sticking on metal edges or rails thus far but maybe I've just gotten lucky. I can't recommend these wheels more. (Posted on 8/31/2022)
Perfect for its use case Review by KF

For street, these are amazing. Absolute game changer in the way they allow you to roll through rougher spots that were originally very difficult to skate. Asphalt, cracks in the concrete, brick - they push through no problem with the ability to slide as well. I have however run into some issues at the skatepark with these. They tend to be VERY sticky on metal, so any slides or grinds that require wheel contact have become considerably more difficult. I went for a back tail on my local park ledge and stuck immediately and was pitched to my back. They are perfect for street application, but for park I’ll be sticking with my 101a. Just be aware that for some surfaces you’ll have to adapt your skating a bit. (Posted on 8/24/2022)
Dragons are 100% amazing/as advertised Review by Mondoeye

As advertised, these wheels offer the best aspects of both (high-quality) hard and soft wheels - all in one wheel. I trusted that these wheels would slide, but hadn’t expected that they would perform equally well on super hard and super slick terrain. Bearings slide in better than most without hard cups. I tried the 54 wides and 56s, and they have differences, but each were the best wheels I have ever ridden. Planning to try the other 2 sizes all as I have been seeking this functionality for many, many, many years. Thank you for developing these wheels! (Posted on 8/18/2022)

Found them! Review by Jon P

When I heard Andy Anderson talking about George's new formula cruiser/street/park wheel.. I knew I had to try The Dragons! GOOD CHOICE! These things are awesome. Now I don't have to change boards or wheels to take my dogs out for a spin or practice some flat ground tricks or mess around in a park. (My primary board is the 8" PP Vato Rats deck w/Mini Logo trucks.) I still consider myself a total novice, so it's hard to explain, but they have a good solid feel on the ground.. like it's more stable and comfortable, but still agile and smooth. So, my only question is will we see them with an off-set core for freestyle!?

Background: I skated as a kid in the 80's and I started easing back into it a couple years ago, so I'm not bombing hills or flipping and twisting on a half-pipe or stair set.. I am enjoying riding around with my dogs, learning a few mellow tricks, and having a general good time on a board! Because I like all skating modes, I've been searching for Animal Chin's perfect wheels.. I have tons of barely used sets in my gear drawer, from generic hard 101A's down to a nice set of PP G-Slides 56mm/85A. I generally felt the harder wheels were not as good for me, and definitely appreciate the softer ones but it's a fine line between comfortably grippy and just too soft... I found the PP Oval Dragon classic 56mm/90A, and like those a lot! The Mini Logo A-cut 54mm/94A are another decent compromise between too soft and too hard... But, these new 93A Dragons rule them all!! (Posted on 8/10/2022)

If you like cruiser wheels but hate losing the sliding ability but also like to go fast. These allow you to skate all surfaces and curbs and slide all day and they last way longer kinda like titanium trucks (Posted on 8/7/2022)

I didn’t know what to expect with these but I was really blown away by the slide. I skate some pretty crusty spots and they reacted well to everything I threw at them. Highly recommend!! (Posted on 8/4/2022)
My favorite wheels Review by John

I ride mostly streets either on rough asphalt or sidewalks and these have been great for me. There is a variety of flat and a few hills where I ride and when I’m heading downhill I like to power slide, these slide great and don’t make me feel like my teeth are chattering when riding on some of the rougher terrains. Perfect balance, thanks Powell for a great wheel. (Posted on 7/28/2022)
