IN BONES, WE TRUST!
CONGRATULATIONS 4 BACK, TO ME, POWELL PERALTA IS "THE BEST"

— joão paulodehill0873@hotmail.com “curvadehill”

Hey guys, I would really love it if ya'll would re-issue a Stacy Peralta board of some sort. I've been skating since I was in 4th grade. I love it. The first board I got was a Stacy Peralta board from my uncle. They have such a great feel. I would love it if u re-issued one. Thanks dudes.

— Will

You've hit the nail on the head for TONS of skaters from the 80's and beyond. Your timing is perfect. Please consider the Guerrero Flaming Dagger! It was my first deck and it would be like a trip in a time machine to be able to ollie north on that bad boy again. Thanks!

— Dave Gildersleeve

please send me more info on how to get the new animal chin movie, a huge fan growing up with Chris Borst.thanks a bunch!

— kevin scheible

I got it! The Vallely Re-issue! This board was so hard to come by growing up in Arkansas (back then!) that the only one I seen was severely cracked-but rideable. But now I have the yellow one ala Mike's in Public Domain. Tomorrow I will get Indy's & wheels & ride it before sundown. Thanks again!

— LeeVai

I won't bore with B.S. and asskissing. I will say that being an old-skool skater and seeing more people giving Powell the props for these re-issues is well overdue. I haven't skated in over ten years until recently. Upon getting back into the sport (it is considered a "sport" now, isn't it, LOL) I found that the new skool decks offered an old skooled skater nothing but concave that looks like it has been pressed with a two-ton shop press that had been submerged in urine. As for the graphics... LOL, can you say "Spongebob Squarepants" All-in-all, i have had my second chance at this sport and i want to commend you guys for a job well freekin done! Just don't let Spongebob get the upper hand! :-{>

— Corky

Nice one for the old skool decks...How about remaking the decks from the mid 80's the Animal Chin era? That would be so cool, I'd have to buy them all!

— Ralphy

How about a Mullen remake? I always loved his freestyle boards, they rocked!!

— Phil phillipkj4@aol.com

First of all I want to say hats off to George and Stacy for always providing quality everything, now in my 40's I saw the Powell reissued old school decks with all the original artwork. The bug bit, managed to buy most of the reissued decks and even some originals in the wrappers which of course are now on my walls, Mike Mcgill was nice enough to sign the jetfighter deck and was even lucky enough to grap a signed and numbered Steve Cab deck, o man how the years go bye and for a little of nothing with all of this stuff compiled, some of my childhood has been restored. I want to thank everyone who helped bring that joy back to me, hats off again to Steve, Mike, Tony.

— MARC LEVENE

The wheel to ride no other... grip the texture on my momma to ride in pools!

— Diana

Thanks so much for re-issuing those classic old school decks. As fate would have it, a skate park was recently built a mile away from my house which reignited my interest to skate again. While I was at work, bored out of my skull, I started to fatasize about things I used to fantasize about when I was younger like dropping in on something steep, grinding on some smooth coping etc. I started thinking to myself, how cool would it be if I still had my McGill? While googling on the internet, I found your site and saw that the Mike McGills had been re-issued. I was pumped! Shortly after, I purchased a McGill from my nearest skate shop and I'm now back to doing would I loved to do so long ago. Thanks for giving me back my childhood guys! P.S. The kids at the park love the board. I keep getting "That old school board is cool. Can I ride it for a minute?". - Retro Baby! Retro!

— Steve Mann

Having grown up in the late 70's era of skateboarding, I am constantly searching for Powell-Peralta shirts, stickers, decks on ebay. It is like a DREAM for me to find this website and know that this great company is back! I can't tell you many memories I have of my first bright orange Cab deck or my original white BONES wheels. I remember watching Ray Bones Rodriguez skate at Skatopia and Lakewood in So-Cal and being in awe. I really hope the original BONES oval sticker (red backing with white letters) gets re-issued (I got one for about $50 on ebay!) well worth the price I might add for all that it represents to me. The original BONES t-shirts are absolutely classic as well, i can only hope those may be on the way as well? Can't wait to see what's next!

— Steve Rath

ou guys know what your doing, p-p is back in business!

— Chris Austin

The reissues are incredible. Hell yeah old school! But it's been almost a year since I've been searching for the Frankie Hill Bulldog board or shirt. Ebay has them once or twice a year and they go for hundreds! Puh-lease reintroduce them!!!

— Michelle

In 1987 I saw the Bones Brigade at a local mall outside my home town of Baltimore Maryland. To this day I have never seen anyone abuse a deck more than Tommy G. Did off of a jump ramp that was maybe 3 feet high. He was topping out well over seven feet off the ground and well, we were stoked!!! The crowd that day at "white marsh mall" and the team from the sponcering shop, (reach for the beach), just kept screaming and he just kept launching, while in the back ground tony h. Was pulling inverts on a tiny quarter pipe and the others were giving out goods. The team and local shop are long gone and now i'm a 32 years old, but i still ride everyday and I still rely on that deck above all others. Your product has stood the test of time and generations of skaters. Thanks for the years of fun, and the memories that made skateboarding what it is today. Unofficial team member.

— Brad Butler

I've been riding Powell-Peralta boards for the better part of 25 years. Dave Z. gave me my 1st Ray Bones deck in 1980 and Ive never looked back. So naturally I picked up an Alan Gelfand model about a year or so ago,and well pure and simple, these are still the best decks around. The best feel, best colors, and best style of them all as far as I'm concerned. Thanks. P.S. Marina skatepark locals still rule.

— nik rosendahl

Please bring back the light blue Tommy Guerrero dagger board. You can't find a board like that anywhere. I used to sk8 on that board in the late 80s. We used to call him the king of the ollie. It brings back alot of good memories to see the old boards coming back out. I will look foward to buying that board when it comes out. PS. Sk8 or die

— Spalding

A MUST for pools or cement parks!...smooooooooth

— Mike

Hey there George, So far so good! I've really been stoked on all the re-issues that you've been putting out lately. I've already bought both the Vallely and Kevin Harris decks, but I'm dying to get ahold of a RODNEY MULLEN CHESSBOARD re-issue. I think that powell once had the strongest most recognizable image back during the the mid to late 80s. Most of this was due to the iconic graphics that only VCJ could have created. I've often wondered what he's been up to these days and if he'd ever consider creating skateboard graphics again. I think it's about time the world was re-introduced to his art again! Many thanks,

— Crab Scrambly

At last, long last! I emailed you a year ago with the thin hope of getting the Ray Bones Snub nose reissued and here it is! This was my all-time favorite board back in the '80s but I never got one. After waiting 20 years here it is... Thanks a bunch!

— Braden Smith

I think if Chin made a speech he would say ,"Any man or woman could parachute once but you would need a parachute to parachute twice." Life is animal chin K S 34 yrs old and still love Bones.. thank you for keeping skateboarding fun... PP is #1...

— Kelly Dyer

So very awesome to be able to get my hands on all my old faves ON DVD! and the Video Tunes shoulda been here 20 years ago. I'm in my early 30's now and walking into skate shops asking for Animal Chin and PD is a frustrating experience as the guys behind the counter don't know what I'm talkin' 'bout. Cheers Boys!

— Ben Evans

Its great to see the reissue of boards, we have known to love. I'm a geezen @ 37. But grew up in N.VA and skated the Ditch, Chicken Ranch, Mt. Trashmore. and a slew of other little hot spots. One place that sticks out was this guy Page had a Pink half pipe in N. Little Rock Ark.That was Glassed, that thing was Sofa-King sweet. You guys Remember when Thrasher was nothing more than news print? And Chief Rasta where you could get some recipe to fill your belly? Well sorry to be geezen on ya. Peace. Do you really have to ask?

— Scott

I haven't had a board that I really loved to skate since my Frankie Hill was regretfully retired from service in about 1991. But now thanks to Powell I have a Vallely and a Kevin Harris freestyle. My skating has returned to how it was before those evil popsicle decks started breeding. Thanks to everybody at Skate One. Please don't ever stop making these reissues. You are making the world a better place.

— Paul Sullivan

Thanks so much for the great re-issue decks,it is great to see them available. Please re-issue "Frankie Hill's bulldog deck" and Tony Hawk's 1983 skull deck". Keep going with your great classic powell products, they are great.

— Karl

Hi dudes. I just got on the web page by pure hazard. well anyway, I stopped skating after some really painful experiences, but guys I wanted to thank you for what you have released over the years. Definitely and adept of PP products, I will never forget all those years watching the bones brigade and trying to get as good as them... Well I really want to get back on a skate but now I don't have the confidence that I had when I was 10. Thanks again.

— Rno Tampere

The Rat-Bones are the perfect pool wheel. They grip like no other and make it a pleasure to ride.

— Graham Crawley

I was a member of cherry hill skateboard park in 79/80, i seen stacy skate there along with the rest of them, including jamie godfrey the park pro, i seen him skate evey friday, if i only new,i had the yellow snub with red skull, the cubes, the tracker six tracks, copers, the hole 9,please put out some with the red skull and sword,it brings back so much memories and i still skate at 40,this yellow and white one is very sweet to can't wait to get a couple, thanks so much for still being around.

— Mike Bunts

I was 14 in 1982 when I started riding skateboards. Down at the end of the road was a friend who had made a half pipe ramp that was perfect. He named it rampage and he road the Ray Bones Powell Peralta. It was the coolest board I had ever seen. I believe the color was white with red design and white Bones wheels. I dreamed about having this board. I never was fortunate enough to buy one, but when I saw your re-issues page I immediately had to have one. I have even decked it out with dbl cons and tracker trucks. I wanted some old pizza grip, but cannot find, so had to settle for clear Madrid. It wont get ridden to much. I believe it will be more of a showcase for the wall. keep those re-issues coming, they might not be originals, but to me they were works of art and I don't mind owning a reproduction.

— Scott Drew

Thank you for re-issuing this wonderful line quality vintage material and decks---there seems to be a real craving for it! How about some womens' tees with the vintage logos? (and hopefully a restocking of the general product line) Thank you, thank you, thank you, from a skate-ratette with great memories of the 80s scene. ;o)

— Jamie

I'm 31 years old and surf the snow out here in Colorado, but I was bred in Cali and skated the Monty back in the day, even on half pipes. I used to skate the chicken ranch in Nor Cal. For my birthday I'm getting a Powell board.

— Mike Fitzgerald

Hey! I have the Steve Steadham re-issue deck. It is sooo sick. I love it so much. You guys really did a good job on it and i love the spoon nose on it. I wish the new rasta one had that! thanks for making these decks for everyone to enjoy, including me, a 15 year old that loves old skool decks and culture! Peace,

— Jeffrey

Guys, Long story short. I'm 31 and saw the reissues and got a Ripper just to ride and carve. That turned into going to the skatepark and now I'm riding ramps just like 15 years ago. Skating is one of the many freedoms that got lost in all the things that I was conditioned to believe were important. Thanks for the wake-up call! Keep up the great work!

— greg minor

Awesome boards, I wasn't born when the originals were made so I'm really excited about these reissues, but there is one thing that would be better than all these boards together and that is a reissue of the Per Welinder "nordic skull" deck.. please! Best wishes,

— Johannes Okner

They don't make them like they use to, but... They make them better!

— Travis

You guys still make what is basically the original freestyle wheel you produced for the roller skate market so why not re-release for the freestyle market like the Rat Bones and Cubics? There are only a couple freestyle wheels on the market and none of them have that good square edge the original Powell freestyle wheel had.

— Jeremy Elder

I'm another 30-something rider. I'm totally stoked to see my favorite board reissued. These new school popsicle stick boards just don't cut it for me. Thanks.

— JD Mellowship

Great Mamaloushin!! Do you realize how long I've been waiting for the re-issue of the "Ollie" Gelfand deck? 22 years!! I had a beautiful one back in 1982 that took 2 months of pulling weeds and yard work to earn the $$ for-- only to have some half brained dumb ass jump off a wall and promptly snap it in two! no luck on E-bay either. I hope I don't have to wait too long for this one because my 9 year old son is ready to learn what a real deck is. I truly feel that this deck is THE greatest under-rated board Powell ever produced. Thanks, and hurry!

— Mark Adame

I've enjoyed using the Kevin Harris Mountie deck. I've been practicing freestyle for quite some time, and cease to find shapes and construction such as this. A great 80's re-issue, although I still prefer the 8-ply construction over the recent 7-ply.

— Brett Reilly

Hey thanks for keeping old skool skateboarding alive. I'm 14 and been skatin old skool since I've been 5 years old. You guys keep me goin!!

— sam Buckholtz

Hey Folks: Thanks for the re-issue stuff, brings back a lot of memories. I remember skating with Ray R. at Cherry Hill NJ and at Apple in OH... then... it all (the parks)went away. No problem... we had the A-Town ramp in Annandale, VA. (Remember, Gi-Gi, Bonnie, Micro-Mike, Bird-Man, Minor Threat, Black Market Baby, and the Bad Brains). As well as all of these glorious ditches that ran next to the D.C. Beltway. I rode every single one of your decks and eventually snapped 'em into splinters (did I say that I am 6' 8" and 1/8 of a ton?). Don't worry the Simms Andrech (sp?), Brad Bowman, and Jeff Phillips got the same treatment. So did the Santa Cruz, Variflex, Dogtown, hell they ALL broke. Trucks did not get off lightly either, Gull Wing - Bent 'em, Tracker - Bent 'em, Indy - Bent 'em, Variflex - Bent 'em, Bent 'em all. Now, the one constant was your wheels, I had every single double-con you ever made. THEY WERE THE VERY VERY VERY BEST!!!!!!! The old ones make good dog toys for my Dober-Dane. I just got a set of 85A Rat-Bones and a set of 97A Mini-Cubics with some Black Panthers to go in both of 'em, they are BUTTER! Now, I just saw DEVO at the 9:30 club not too long ago and remember the "Freedom of Choice" Video...man those were the days, gonna see GWAR and WEEN this month too. Now I have kids that skate, I tell them and all of their friends about their roots and explain where it all came from (You guys).I have an original Double Beamer around here somewhere...and tell them about music and life lessons. And I skate with them. Well I'm rambling so I'll just shut up now. But, I have a question for you...are you going to re-issue a soft (85A) double con like the Mini-Cubics? Just curious. Thanks A LOT guys...you da best!

— Big Tim Meinbresse

I want to die a happy man and the only way that's going to happen is If I am buried with a re issue "Tony Hawk" deck.

— Adam Marr

Get the lines that see in front of u. People seem to speak to much, SHUT UP & SKATE! Sincerely, KAM P.S. Cause U got to get some lines!

— Kdub

Hey, what's up Powell, you guys are the best. I am 15 and only skate Powell, I love the shape!, and the spoon nose is great, everyone skates at my school, its all kickflip this, or heelflip that, I bet none of those suckas couldskate a pool, or even perform a halfway decent varial, its nice to know I have some escape from bam margera, and green day, I dont know whats happened to skating. It's all about showing off now, its so lame, but you guys are just having fun, thats why Powell rocks!, i just purchased the Mcgill Skull skate deck, and got some jawbones rails, ect. thanks Powell!!

— P

Mr.Powell, I've grew up skating a lot of 80's Powell Peralta decks as a kid and now I collect them as an adult, I was wondering if other upcoming re-issue will include the 1st. Lance Mountain deck or the 1st Tommy Guerrero deck? those decks are very hard to come by even used and I'd like to add those to the collection. The 80's was the best! I relive the era by staring at my collections. Thank you for your outstanding work through out the years.

— Tom

Dear Guys, As an old Santa Barbara girl and one-time manager of Gyro Skate Wheels, it's great to see Powell-Peralta exploding internationally again, after the release of Unleashed/Lords of Dogtown. Since '88 I've been living in England, France and Cyprus, thinking about waterlilies rather than boards and wheels. Here in Cyprus there are a couple of skate parks, and the ramps aren't exactly ripping, but the art is alive. It's great to see you are all still shredding--it's a blast from the past. All the best,

— Barbara Dobbins

I think it's great you guys are doing these reissues! Something for us old guys. Any chance you'll be reissuing more of the Ray Bones snubnose? In blue or purple perhaps? That'd go great with some blue 95a Mini Cubics! Or even the old blue Jay Smith concave! I still have my Jay Smith Britelite spoon nose that I bought in 1980! Thanks again guys!

— Chris

Hey, I'm only 12 but I'm all about the old style. I love doin berts and thrashin ditches. Also, I can't tell you how much I love the old Powell Peralta videos. I watch Animal Chin at least once a week. No matter what, Stacy Peralta will always be my idol.

— Bobv

I just finished the setup on my Cab reissue (NOS Tracker street tracks, Rat bones 85's, Bones Swiss, 1/2"Tracker risers, die cut grip, NOS Rib bones, Jaw bone, and Tail bone). After tail droppin' on 10ft (9ft trans center radius), all I can say is I'm blown away! These are the real deal, not some crap aimed to satisfy a niche. I can honestly say that it is the exact same feeling as it was in '86! The kids were amazed by our old school shred, and they all wanted to know where to get these bitchin' skates. Powell Peralta is, and always has been the absolute best of the best! If you haven't already got it in the works, a Tony Hawk reissue is most definitely a wise move, as well as an '86 Caballero full dragon reissue. You have succeeded once again in shifting the tide in favor of the true street issue sk8ter! Thanx for a lifetime of fun.

— Rick “Boneless”

The G-Bones are sick. I think they're the best wheels for big powerful tail slides.
