Since this weekendI am the proud owner of a old school Mc Gill PP deck. It has Independent trucks and blue Rat Bones wheels. I am like the happiest man in the world (I am 41) and this is the best skateboard that I ever owned.
I love everything about it. Also the 90A Rat Bones wheels give me a lot of grip wile carving the local skatepark.
Keep on bringing back the old school shapes and wheels!
Powell Peralta Rules!

Hey guys I just wanted to hop in again and say that I recently purchased Dogtown and Z Boys and itwas one of the best and most interesting documentaries ever. It really opened my eyes further to the history of skateboarding. That is all, keep skating and having fun, don't lose the spirit of Animal Chin.
can anybody tell me anything about a deck? it was purchased about 30 years ago...its never been ridden or even had trucks on it. i think its a steve caballero deck... it has a sticker of a dragon on the top in the middle, split grip tape, nothing on the bottom, its natural wood...anything would help. thanks
— lalo tejeda
I only have two things to say...1st: I want a re-issue Tommy Guerrero flaming dagger. For God's sake what's the hold up? 2nd: What is so difficult with my first question to come true? Shit...give Tommy a cut, plenty of money could be made.
— Steve “"White Boy"” Collins
At 30 years old I just got my first Powell Peralta skateboard, having wanted one since 1989 and it's been worth the wait! So stoked to see the leering face of the ripper on a deck, great concave and solid maple!
You guys rule!
— Board “Brain”
I have a powell peralta bord, that my father bought for my brother about 30 years ago...i don't know much about it, it has never had trucks on it. it is in almost perfect shape. I was wondering if you could direct me to somebody who could give me a quote on what its worth? i can send a pic of it if you would like. thanks for your time.
— lalo tejeda
Idea: It would be cool if the Skull and dagger design with the skeleton background 1987 would be reintroduced...
— JF “JF” Boisvert
Keep up the good work. But try to get Mountain or Guerrero back on the team. Reissue a Hawk board. And start silk screening again. Other than that, THE BEST SKATEBOARD COMPANY OF
ALL TIME! Glad Mike V and VCJ are back.
— Animal Chin
So Stoked on all the new products that have been coming out! Can't wait to get my new VCJ Hoffart deck and SHRED!
I wish Powell Peralta would release stickers and tees(old school brigade style) for the newer team riders; That would be so sick!
— James “Cheek”
I'm active duty military currently deployed. I've been serving over 19 years. As a kid I had a Mike McGill board that I rode everyday. As I got older, I stopped skateboarding for about 15 years. I was stoked when the old boards came back and I bought the Ripper deck with Rat Bone wheels and Indy trucks...its awesome...just like Powell/Peralta boards were back in the 80s. Thanks for bringing them back...BONES BRIGADE!!!
— Steven Inman
Hey hey from South Africa, so awesome to see Powell Peralta back together. I've had a few P&P decks, but especially the Steve Cab range. I gotta say something to Steve, "Dude, you absolutely rock! I'm pumping 32 years old now and you still inspire me with the fact that you are still skating man! And on top of that, I see you're a fellow believer." I'll def be looking out for some P&P products in my local surf skate store down here, keep up the awesome work guys, I'm so encouraged with all this nostalgia!!!
— Sergio Batista
Bring back the RAT BONE jacket from 1984 PLEASE!!!!!!!
Love your stuff... the quality of the decks is better than anyone else. I'm 34 years old and am so happy you continue to do re-issues. It would be cool to see a Future Primitive deck that's 10" wide and also some 80a RatBones or Mini-Cubics.
Just want to say thanks for the great products you guys provide. My 9 year old daughter constantly gets super positive feedback on the Powell Peralta skateboard she owns.
She loves to ride it, it is perfect in size. She owns the old school smaller model with skull and sword. She told me if it ever breaks she wants the other model the Steve Cab one.
I want to thank everyone involved in the company from top to bottom for providing these awesome products.
Thank you, you guys rule!

Dear powell peralta,
Im 18 years old and maybe one of The youngest old school kids that are in The sport. I have to say that p&p is The best brand for skateboarding. Best quality always. The new school is good, but there is nothin like grabin my mike V elephant and hit some bowls and some downhill streets like my older Brother thaught me. Just making those tricks I feel like I have a whole legacy in my feet. Keep makin this awesome decks that brings lessons for us,The new generation, that how The skateboarding really is. Long life to The Brigade.
— David “Crispy” Revilla
for the love of god please make josh hawkins pro . ive been waiting for him to go pro basiclly since i started skating, and after seeing his happy medium 2 part..........i think its time.
I was wondering why you have never made a Tommy Guerrero reissue. When i was a child I had one that was pink with clear grip tape independent trucks and slime ball wheels, those boards were so cool, wish i still had my board. Just thought it would be cool to see a reissue plus my son thinks it would be cool to have one. Thank you for your time, C.G.
— C.G. EXUM
Hey guys I just wanted to say I am 22 years old and I own almost all of your movies (some on VHS!!). I love watching the old stuff and I love that you guys have the new boards on here. My favorite scenes from all your movies has to be the end of Animal Chin when you gave Tony Hawk a lot of time on the video, that was awesome, I am not even a big Tony Hawk fan now but back in the 80s we all know he was good (not as good as Jeff Phillips though hate to admit). I will be building a couple of your decks here soon for me and a new addition to my crew, I normally skate Flip but these are off the wall decks you guys have on here. Thumbs up to Cab on his design and keep up the good work everyone. And Mike V nice demo shoot good to see you back in the demos.
— Rob , RF Technical
Hey guys awhile back I got a set of 92a rat bones and they were great. Now I have a set of 90a rat bones, I think these slide better, and I have more skill. Lovin' these wheels!! Please never stop making them!! Please and thank you =D
— Fernando Llamas , Burque Bombers
Good to see Mr. Powell and Mr. Peralta team up again to bring us skateboards with a history. Powell and Peralta is pure nostalgia for me.
I used to have a big collection of boards by P&P and Powell. Most of it I gave away, but the brand still means a lot to me. Keep contributing on good memories for future skaters.
— Cliff “anfieldboy”
i like powell !!!

— emerson “emerson” castro , Particular

I watch it every single time its on and have it on DVD..never gets old..thank you for sharing those memories with all of us who hold it sacred. Best to you and yours.. thank you!
— Jeff Wright
Powell-Peralta has been one of the first companies I've heard of growing up and I've been a fan of the team for a while.
— Anferney “AJ ” Preston
Dudes!! I'm lovin' the re-issues! Im going to get the cab street for sure. Im 28 now but when I was real little like 5-6 years old I skated my buddies 5 ft half pipe and tore it up.. really was pretty good for how little I was. Later on mid 90's started street skating and did until I was 19-20 when I had to get a job. But I just got a board agian, but shit hurts nowadays. So I'm getting into more bowls and half pipes again. So I want to go old School again. But the board I had when I was little was the 87' Tony Hawk and I haven't been able to find a re-issue of it? So PLEASE re-issue it!!! Sickest board ever!!! I got side tracked for a bit, but now I'm in search of chin again!
— Billy “Billy”
Hello Powell Peralta And Other Bones Brigade Members:I Might Be The Youngest Old Schooler Here Ive Been Riding A "Caballero Full Chinese Dragon" Re Issue For Half A Year.Ever Since I Saw Powell Peralta:Search For Animal Chin Ive Learned How To Powerslide The Streets Hills And Railslide.I Could Never Kickflip I Always Thought New School Skateboards Were Horrible And The Skate Videos Had No Style.
Thanks,Powell Peralta For Your Thrashin Decks And Wheels,And Thanks To My Cousin Bernard For Getting Me Into Old School
— Marc “Eazy” Escandor
Dear Powell Peralta,
I am proud to say that you guys make the best boards I have ever skated. Im sure you recieve that alot but I do not think there are boards anywere as original and comfortable skatewise as yours. If every company made a board like yours, im sure that I would be a way better skilled boarder then I am now. Thank for the good times i now experiance every time I mob a hill, drop in to a pool and even when i hit the little rock on the sidewalk. Its all due to you guys!!!
— Jesse “Jess” Brown , Jay Zen Skate
Man, this takes me back!
I want a reissue of the Lance Mountain future primitive deck! I always wanted that thing, could never find it in the 80's.
Put Mike V on Bones Wheels and theeve...it would be the coolest thing ever.
Best skateboards ever. Bring back the Hawk boards, especially the '89 Birdclaw deck. Awesome to see This happening. Such a huge part of my youth!
— Heath Coontz
When I saw a McGill re-issue deck four years ago I started feeling something very difficult to describe. Memories popped instantly in my mind, old friends, the freedom and adrenaline you can only feel while riding a deck, in summary skating ..... Since then I couldn´t stop checking which is going to be the next "re-issue". So far I´ve got 8 decks (half of them complete), but I´m still waiting for a Hawk, a Guerrero, a late 80´s McGill or a late 80´s Mountain. I had stopped skating profesionally 17 years ago, but now it´s the time of my children. Thank you Powell for keeping this memories alive and give me the chance to show and share with my kids the best skateboards that have ever existed !!!!!
— Javier Fernandez
I cant wait for your summer decks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Respirando Skate de la mañana a la noche, no hay nada mejor. Salve oh Gran Stacy!
— Mauro Deo
I am a huge fan of your company. I got a mirco ripper, put some Pig Super Cruiser wheels on it and I skate it everyday to class. It can be a little sketch since its so short but I love it.
— Alex “Moo” Chambers , student
U guys are the best....thanks for all those thrashin decks...will skate or die
— albert “skate punk”
I bought the Hot Rod Flames deck in January 2011. I love this board. my profile is Deck, Indy 169's, mini logo grip, mini logo bearings, 1.5" hardware, orange rails,
white Bomber wheels 68mm 88a and .5" raisers.
it maybe be a tank to some, but, it's quiet and smooth. just the way i like it.
been riding Powell Products since i was 15y/o and will never stop.
Keep up the good work.
— Trevor “the_NoBsTeR” McNabb

— LEE CANNAN , DISLABEL RECS
Beemer! Beemer! Beemer! c'mon, bring it back!
Love to see the classic multi logo shirts come back out....Not to mention the Tony Hawk and Rodney Mullin decks...Im still searching for Animal Chin!
— Rhett “-Sein” Adams , 3rd Branch/ Uplift
I think you should add steve steadham and mike mcgill to the team as ledgends and a saiz re-issue would be killer.
My cousin quit skating in 1989 and he left his board in the bunk house until i stumbled upon it it was a Tony Hawk "XT Chicken Skull" but there was no tail so i bought a re issue caballero still looking forward to that Tony Hawk Re-Issue. P.S. Re-Issue a Tommy Guerrero "Flaming Sword"
I love all of Powell Peralta! there boards are thee best out there!
— Matt Vara
Visiting DogTown. Another day in paradise! Smell Skateboarding here. wish fulfilled ♠
— Mauro Deo
Love the boards. Grew up on this stuff! Peace.
Glad to see VCJ is back... Lovin' the reissues! Hoping to see the Cabellero spoon nose (similar to the Chinese Dragon shape) with the dragon and bats graphic. That is my favorite board. Ever. I ordered what was supposed to be one according to the pic on the site I ordered from but, ended up being the other shape with the divets by the nose. A great board nonetheless. Also, what's up with the Lance Mountain, the Hawk, and the mid-late 80's Mcgill? Keep 'em comin' and I'll keep on buying.
— J-Bone Thunder
when you think of classic skateboards the first thing that comes to mind is powell peralta over the years i have been collecting powell stuff and been skating since the 80's its great to see a company stick to its roots and produce products that are timeless i would like to see more freestyle decks like the kevin harris one of the best and coolest boards on the market thanks for these reissues keep pressing them and we will keep buying them.
Id love to see some high resolution desktop wallpapers. 1680x1050 1920x1080. Old school deck graphics would be super!
Hello again Brigade Army, today I finally Got my "The Search for Animal Chin" The best Skateboarding movie ever, The old skool skate is pure and the most beautiful thing to witness. I would liked to have been there. My respect Stacy Peralta, until soon.
— Mauro Deo
All i am saying is a new video would be sweet...you guys have the greatest skateboard team today...a new video would be monumental to say the least, and Hoffarts part in the bones video was killer...and i love that mike v is on the team his part would be sweet to, when he is healed.
— durval junior
Hi guys! I'm a big fan! The videos changed my life! Then the Bones Demo in Rochester, NY 1988, Lance, Mike V, Saiz! I was hooked! I moved to California and SKATED! I rode so many PP decks, and loved them all. Also got 4th place in the Shop Team Challenge 1989, riding for Galaxy Sports, when the skate park was still outside! It was the coolest thing ever! For years I have been wondering why is there no Bones Brigade Video 5? What happened to 5? Was there a 5? Will there be a 5? Public Domain Video Four, Ban This Video 6. Why is Ban this Video 6 and not 5? I have never heard of any explanation... Is this an unusual question? Please enlighten me, I've been dying to know.
