The year was 1978 and the ditches of Albuquerque,NM was where it was at as far as skating goes!
I skated nothing but powell/peralta decks. A skatepark opened up and pig boards came along. Tried one out and was hooked! Parks or ditches! Time and life moved me on to other things until this last summer when my nephew came out to visit. I got on his board and was hooked all over again! Stopped skating around 1981 or '82 so it's been a really long time (24 yrs) but I wanted to get back into skating so you can imagine my shock to find I could set my board up what today is "Old School" style! I got the whole thing from skateone and only needed to add some copers for the indys to complete the stroll down memory lane! Well, I actually always wanted some mini cubes but never did get them back in the day, but I did pick some up this time around! It's been three months back and the minis haven't failed me once! They are great for aggressive bowl riding as well as carving it up. Flow is good man! Hang loose and thanks for bringing it back for us old timers!

The green 95a mini-cubics are an amazing reissue and my new favorite wheel of all time. Especially since I missed out on them back as a teenager. Just also need the reissue RAT BONES in 90a (which I used to have back in the day) and everything would be perfect!
