Received mine today.I am using a set of Bones Filmers 56mm in my 9" Flight deck with Indys 159 X Thrasher as a cruiser.
The new PP G-Slides are for my new Flight Bucky Lasek deck.
My first impression was the filmers 80A durometer are a little bit quieter and smoother than 85A durometer G-Slides but the G-Slides are faster.
G-Slides are smooth too, please understand me well, they are very enjoyable wheels to ride even in raw concrete without break in.

These wheels hit a sweet spot for size, weight, damped ride, and capable slides. They have a more snappy feel compared to other soft durometer wheels. Wish the formula was just a hair more slideable like the 90A Z-Flex wheels (but those don’t have cores so they ride slower and are heavier). (Posted on 11/17/2020)

Got back into skating about 4 months ago after a 17year hiatus, Im ridding concrete parks and some half pipes, these wheels have been great, soft enough for rough surfaces but im still able to get 5050's and grinds with no issues, actually just got a second pair. (Posted on 10/29/2020)

I've juste tried these ! I was looking for a good compromise between the street and the chill practice. I really love it. When I am on the spot, I can perfectly perform my sliding tricks and riding is still very comfortable. I used to have 80A wheels before. I feel like I loose nothing, but I can now powerslide now ! These are the answer. If you skate street like I do, a straight ahead, free ride approach..these wheels are perfect. Small debris dont bother them or stop you short while setting up on a crusty approach. Amazing in ditches, rough mini ramps, gappy roads and walkways..soft and forgiving but slide reliably enough to speed check, or bomb hills with..takes the shock out of launch ramps enough for old timers like me to hit..not to say it takes the hit out of the concrete when old timers like me hit the concrete, but that’s another problem altogether.

These wheels are really great, I have been using them since I started longboarding. They have been a great wheel to learn all slides with, they are very smooth to slide with and are still in perfect condition after a long time of usage. Great beginner wheel to practice slides and also good for park skateboarding. My only problem is that they were a bit slower than other wheels because of their size and durometer. I still went 30 mph on them and are still very smooth. Great wheel overall. (Posted on 11/25/2017)
