Vernon Courtlandt Johnson, aka VCJ, is back in the mix with Powell-Peralta. After numerous years away, the artist that inspired the Rip the Ripper Art Show and created many of Powell-Peralta's timeless images, is busy working on new graphics as the brand marches forward.

I'm with Kyle, book would be so cool, though a lot of VCJ's artwork stares down at me from my office wall it would be great in print. Can't wait for the next deck releases.

oh this is the"BIBLE" of the skate boarding world. this takes me way back...powell peralta is the bigest motivator for me to start skate boarding in grade 9 ... im now 39 .. and still wear skate cloths from powell peralta. back in the day if u had a powell peralta sticker on your board or car... in my town chances r i knew him ... such a legend .. i even have friends with tatoo s of the R I P ... too cool
